RESOL Solar Controller is based on ΔT differential logic  with considering solar thermal system features, such as drainback, anti-frost, collector warming up, flow monitoring, irradiation threshold, high/low limitation of collectors or loads and priority loading and so on. With the typical and special solar functions built in the controllers, the controllers “command” the solar thermal systems intelligently. A ΔT differential logic could be easily found in many controllers in the market; however, the built-in solar functions root from the manufacturers’ dedicated design and long-term experience in the solar thermal industry.

 Zone Pump Modules and Manifolds

Zone Pump Modules have K31, K32, K33, K34 K36E and K38 models. They satisfy your different requests in the projects.

K31-High Temperature Zone Module. 

K32 -Low Temperature Zone Module with 3-way mixing valve driven by floating point actuator. 

K33-Low Temperature Zone Module with thermostatic mixing valve (Incl. 0-50% adjustable bypass valve) . 

K34-Low Temperature Zone Module with 3-way mixing valve driven by floating point actuator (incl. 0-50% adjustable bypass valve).

K36E-Zone Module to compensate temperature differences in boilers.

K38-Low Temperature Zone Module with 4-way mixing valve driven by floating point actuator. 

Manifolds cooperate zone pump modules to distribution heating in mutiple zones in parallel.

Used in closed loop design. In conjunction with boilers having high resistance (condensing) or when total flow rate of all parallel running circulators is higher than maximum flow rate of the boiler, the low-loss header provides hydronic separation, decoupling boiler and system circuits from each other. It is recommended to use the low-loss header in applications in which the total system flow rate exceeds the maximum boiler flow rate. PAW strongly recommends the use of a hydronic separator in cases where the system head and flow rate are unknown.

Air vents in hydronic systems remove  air accumulated in heating and cooling systems. This averts air staying in systems damages hydronic devices and improves system performance. Air vents prevent:

- corrosion due to the oxygen;

- pockets of air trapped in the heating emitters;

- cavitation in the circulation pumps;

- noise from air passing through the pipes.
