The refractometer will ensure that your solar installation is not going to freeze in winter. No more guessing!

• 50-50 % Glycol-Water or something else: YOU know exact freezing point of your mixture!
• This unit is designed with Automatic Temperature Compensation ("ATC") which allows for ambient shifts in outdoor temperatures, while still yielding accurate results. ATC works between the ambient temperatures of 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F)
• RF-40 Scale Ranges:
• Propylene Glycol: 32°F to –50°F (5° Intervals & Accuracy) 0°C to -50°C
• Ethylene Glycol:, 32°F to –60°F (5° Intervals & Accuracy) 0°C to -50°C
• Battery Fluid Specific Gravity: 1.100 to 1.400 with “Recharge”, “Fair” and “Good” Ranges (0.050 Intervals) 

RF-40 is supplied in a gray, foam-lined hard plastic case including following accessories: distilled water sample, pipette, soft cleaning cloth, adjustment screwdriver, leather carrying pouch and operation manual.
